Mesh Count
by dirged on Jul.10, 2009, under Screen Printing Basics
What is the mesh count of a screen? It is pretty much the resolution of the screen. The higher the mesh count, the the smaller a dot can be in the art for screen printing. A lower mesh count, on the other hand, is useful for pushing thicker inks and additives (likes crystals and metallics) through the mesh.
